This BOD intelligent tester uses mercury free differential pressure method to measure BOD value in water, and adopts imported sensors to ensure reliable data. It is widely used in the detection of industrial wastewater, domestic wastewater, environmental engineering, university research, agricultural projects, etc.
Working principle
This product simulates the natural biodegradation process, where the oxygen in the air above the test bottle continuously supplements the dissolved oxygen consumed in the water. The CO2 generated during the organic matter degradation process is absorbed by potassium hydroxide in the sealed lid. The sensor monitors the changes in oxygen pressure in the bottle in real time, establishes a correlation between biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) and gas pressure, accurately measures BOD, and displays the results in real time.
