New XRF precious metals analyzer EDX3000 PLUS is especially good at content testing of gold, silver, platinum, palladium and other precious metals. Equipped with 25m㎡ beryllium window detector, it is capable of accurate content testing of gold, silver, platinum, palladium, copper, zinc, and nickel in gold,platinum, and gold ornaments. The testing results fully conform to the international GB/T 18043-2000 requirements.

Application fields

Content testing of gold, platinum, silver and other precious metals in various kinds of ornaments. Precious metals mainly refer to gold, silver and platinum family (Ruthenium, rhodium, palladium, osmium, tetroxide, iridium, platinum).
1. Equipped with the best silicon drift detector (SDD), the instrument, with the resolution of 139±5ev, compared to the common Si-PIN detector resolution of 160±5eV, can better test the content of iridium and gold in platinum.

2. Equipped with 25m㎡beryllium window detector, it greatly enhances the sample's receiving ability of X-ray fluorescence. With digital multi-channel analysis technology, it improves the analytical speed and integral processing ability. Its counting rate accounts to 80,000, increasing by 5 to 10 times as compared to common Si-PIN 6m㎡ detector and its precision improves by 2 to 4 times.
